The hotel is located in the same building with the restaurant Seegi Maja (Estonian “alms-house”), the known oldest house of Pärnu which was rebuilt in 1658 from the old alms-house of Pühavaimu (Holy Ghost) Church. Investigation of the wooden raft under the foundation has revealed its origin from the period 1250–1350. The current Alms-house has been restored with the exterior of 17th century.
